The products and services provided by Invitek P/L are manufactured using additive manufacturing technologies, including 3D printing processes. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and limitations.

Last Updated: 25/05/2026

1. General Manufacturing Limitations

3D printed parts are produced using layer-based manufacturing methods and may contain inherent variations, including but not limited to:

  • Minor dimensional tolerances
  • Surface imperfections
  • Layer lines
  • Material inconsistencies
  • Variations in color or finish
  • Reduced structural strength compared to traditionally manufactured parts

These characteristics are considered normal and are not classified as defects unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Prototype and Non-Certified Use

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, all parts produced by Invitek Pty Ltd are intended for:

  • Prototyping
  • Concept evaluation
  • Visual models
  • Hobbyist applications
  • General non-critical use

Our products are not certified for:

  • Medical applications
  • Critical Aerospace applications
  • Automotive safety systems
  • Structural load-bearing systems
  • Life-support equipment
  • Firearm or weapon systems
  • Any safety-critical or regulated application

Customers assume full responsibility for determining the suitability of printed parts for their intended use.

3. Customer Design Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and integrity of submitted files
  • Proper engineering and design validation
  • Material selection suitability
  • Functional testing and safety verification
  • Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards

[Company Name] does not independently verify the structural performance, safety, or legality of customer-submitted designs.

4. Dimensional Tolerances

While we make reasonable efforts to achieve dimensional accuracy, exact measurements cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of additive manufacturing processes.

Actual part dimensions may vary depending on:

  • Material type
  • Print orientation
  • Part geometry
  • Environmental conditions
  • Machine calibration
  • Post-processing methods

Customers should allow appropriate tolerances in their designs.

5. Material Performance

Material specifications provided by manufacturers are reference values only and may differ in real-world printed applications.

Mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties can vary depending on:

  • Printer settings
  • Environmental exposure
  • Print orientation
  • Infill density
  • Layer adhesion
  • Post-processing

Customers are responsible for independently testing printed parts before operational use.

6. No Engineering Certification

Unless explicitly agreed in writing, Invitek Pty Ltd does not provide:

  • Engineering certification
  • Compliance certification
  • Product approval
  • Fitness-for-purpose guarantees
  • Regulatory testing
  • Load or stress analysis

Any recommendations provided regarding materials or print settings are general guidance only and do not constitute engineering advice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invitek Pty Ltd shall not be liable for:

  • Product failure
  • Loss of profits
  • Personal injury
  • Property damage
  • Business interruption
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Improper use of printed parts

Customers use all manufactured products at their own risk.

Our total liability for any claim relating to a product or service shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order.

8. Inspection and Testing

Customers are responsible for inspecting and testing all parts upon receipt and prior to use in any operational environment.

Parts should not be relied upon in any application where failure could result in injury, death, property damage, or financial loss unless independently certified and tested by qualified professionals.

9. Right to Refuse Manufacture

Invitek Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse manufacture of any item that is considered to:

  • violate laws or regulations
  • infringe on intellectual property rights
  • be unsafe or hazardous
  • contain prohibited or offensive content
  • be intended for unlawful purposes

10. Acceptance of Risk

By submitting files and placing an order, the customer acknowledges the limitations of additive manufacturing and accepts all risks associated with the use, installation, or distribution of manufactured parts.
